Tracsport short ratio kit for T9?

Anyone have first hand experience with tracsport short ration kit for T9? Burton sells it and with epic exchange rates right now its only $1,275.00USD.

My mod/performance goals do not breach the limits of a T9, but short ratio in the XR would be very nice. Very.

Anyone? Bueller?

Re: MC2 website

I just got word from Chris that Mc2 is shutting down. I had ordered a plate diff from him but he couldn't fulfill so he refunded me and let me know of his change in business plans.

Re: Carbon Fiber driveshafts?

Hi all, So, as we have mentioned money multiple times I will ask: have you changed suspension struts and shocks to KYB or Bilstein or other high quality parts plus poly bushings in all the suspension and rear axle mount and new suspension parts all over underneath? New motor mounts? Dude, just stop...

Re: Carbon Fiber driveshafts?

Haven't run a CF one, but I have experimented with one-piece steel and AL DS's, and gave up on them. It just doesn't work well with the "floating" engine-tranny mass vs. the fixed-position diff, even with hard poly motor and trans mounts..... Thank you for this, very interesting. Did not ...

Re: Carbon Fiber driveshafts?

I wonder if you are racing the car or autocross? I can see neglible benefit for normal street use versus the expense of it. Sure it would be cool to do but the money could certainly do more in other areas for normal use. I look at cost/benefit for all aspects of things, not just cars... YMMV Have y...

Carbon Fiber driveshafts?

ISO of CF driveshaft manufactures for XR

Anyone have any experience, good or bad, with any vendor who makes CF driveshafts for XRs? I've run them in two other cars and experienced great gains. Did some search here but only found info on aluminum ones for XR

TIA

XR4Ti mechanics in Mass and/or New England

While do do quite a bit of wrenching I am new to working on XR4Ti and would like to find a mechanic who knows the cars well and to work with for project upgrades. Doesn't have to be a an XR4Ti specific shop, just someone who knows them better than I do and wrenches for a living. I welcome any recomm...
