To my knowledge, the MT models never had a carrier...
Doorman is the only one I can see that makes the "stock" part. Their site says it only fits 86+ AT models.
If anyone has a similar setup, I'd appreciate if one could provide measurements so I may check if it is actually Dorman 934-012.

Re: Carrier Bearing Identification
Hello again. Sorry for the sort of vague post the superbowl party left me a little discombobulated. Here is an image of the carrier; https://i.imgur.com/3joeJd5.jpeg This was taken from the rear looking forward. It looks funny because I stuffed some fuel hose in the housing to take up some of the ga...

Carrier Bearing Identification
Hello, My XR4Ti driveshaft carrier bearing rubber has perished. The car had been T5 swapped at some point in its life and I don't know what solution the person who did it came to. It looks like it has a 2-piece shaft of some form, but I cannot tell if its from the original transmission or a mustang....

Blower High Only - Resistor Visually Good
Hello I'm writing another HVAC system article. This time its for blowers that only work on high, but the resistor is visually OK. The repair should take less than an hour. XR4Ti Blower Motor Replacement
Hi I wanted to write a quick post about XR4Ti blower motor replacements. I just went through doing mine after putting it off a long time. I read some concerning comments about people having to remove their valve cover or cut holes in their hvac box to do this job. I wanted to write a post to disprov...

Re: Merkur Midwest Down
I sent an email to the Blugg address. He said that the site is getting an overhaul. The tripod link above is the temporary solution.

Merkur Midwest Down
Hello all. I need to buy some parts but it seems MerkurMidwest's and Rapido's websites are down. Do any of you know when can we expect them to return? Is it defunct?

New Member On Track
Hello everyone! I'm a new member who picked up this '85 this summer. It seems it has been owned by a member of this forum at one time so maybe you can help me find out who. Here it is trying its best at Canaan; https://i.imgur.com/MTAaKwK.jpeg My friend was there with the 2.3T Lima's only known enem...
