Re: ABS Master Cylinder / Pump Assembly

Mirabile dictu! (wonderful to behold). Re-read several recent posts above re my saga with ABS light On after installing new (remanufactured) wheel sensors on my 88 and my 89. I've been driving my 88 exclusively the past few days. ABS light was always On. This morning I started the engine, shifted in...

Re: FS: Complete Lock Set including Steering bearing & hatch assemblies

hmmm.....I wonder if I could take that lock out and replace everything, but keep that portion so I can use all one key...??? Your guess is probably better than mine! Studying it some more yesterday, the housing does have a little section that broke off - the typical failure. But it did still work w...

Andy: If it was easy everybody would do it.🙂

(I've got nothing to say on this; just couldn't refrain from noting the above.)

Re: Rear Windows

Doan know 'bout dat deer greese pan-a-see-a... IME the only thing I've observed with Scorpio window gears and regulators working slow is if/when there's something impeding them from normal pace on raising windows, e.g. binding in a channel either dirty or deformed or needing a spritz of silicone spr...

Re: Rear Windows

BTW, I also applied the conductive grease to fuse 24 contacts in the fuse box. Be advised fuse 24 is not one of the typical plastic fuses. It is in a metallic can located next to the relays. That (24) is a circuit breaker, not a fuse. The front power seats circuit also incorporates a circuit breake...

Gotta be sure you hammer-tap only on the lock ring tab(s), not the "stop(s)" for the lock ring tabs.

Re: Harbor Freight Tire Changer Upgrades

I changed many tires using tire irons. If/when protecting rim edges was a concern I cut two side sections of a milk jug and placed those between the rim and two tire irons, moving those along as the tire inner edge rose above the rim. Milk container plastic is very durable and fully protected the wh...
