Re: Sierra Camber plates or others on a xr4ti?
Slotting the cross member holes would be cheaper but having to adjust/pull them in might be problematic and a pain to be adjusting if your messing with your suspension setup frequently. I think having the adjustability on the top will be easier in the long.

Sierra Camber plates or others on a xr4ti?
Anyone running these? I assume they would work, if you cut the top ring off the shock towers? https://www.compbrake.com/product/ford-sierra-cosworth-adjustable-suspension-top-mount-pair-new-generation-2-piece-fully-guaranteed/ Or does anyone have a idea of a nother car model that would be a good fit...

Re: XR4ST
650lbs at 9.5" will sit higher than stock. Even if you remove the spring isolator. Been there, done that with 700s. Well I might have to use the solowerks springs or chop off a little bit at a time of the camaro springs till desired ride height is achieved. I haven't pulled the car out yet for...

Re: XR4ST
Here is a website that sells them, I bought them off eBay. http://streetrays.com/newstore/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=59921&search=Shock+extenders&page=3 Keep in mind I had to modify the extenders to fit inside the shock tower. Overall I do not recommend going this route,...

Thanks, a nother question for you....
Is there room to go pretty low with this setup on a xr4ti?
Also do you happen to have any other pics of your rear upper shock mount adapter?
Thanks again Ryan

Re: Strut recommendation 350f/650r spring rates
I just edited the thread name, now its correct.
As far as the vw stuff goes, I'll have to recheck what models and years fit.
I'm not sure how low I am compared to stock height, I'd say realatively low. I'll try to post a pic.
Does anyone have parts numbers to the bilstein and Konis for the xr.

Strut recommendation 350f/650r spring rates
Looking for a strut recommendation for the 88 xr4ti.
The car is has stock blown/old struts and 350lbs front coilover springs and 650lbs Camaro rear springs.
Also what length front springs are you guys running?
The car is pretty low currently and I want to keep it that way.

Re: Merkur front hubs with Volkswagen struts
How much better are the vw struts vs. Lets say o.e. replacement xr4ti struts?
I plan on running coilovers with 300lbs springs.
