i've done away with coolant to the turbo on every Xr i've had to no ill effect.

why do you want to eliminate the EGR?
kind of wish i'd have kept mine. when properly working it could lower combustion chamber temps almost 150 degrees C.
in a turbo application, i'd see that as a benefit
