Re: Saginaw Power Steering Pump Conversion

So the Astro pump is key here because it uses a straight snout vs the majority of the Saginaw pumps that have the tapered version. Were there other Saginaw pumps with a attached reservoir and a straight snout? That and the horseshoe adapter bracket really make this a bolt on affair aside for the cle...

Re: Question installing AEM wide band 30-4110...

If the wideband has a simulated narrowband output this can be fed to the factory ecu. The main issue with the wideband too close to the turbo is longevity. They recommend 18” down stream of the turbo to make it last. I have mine 1/2 way through the downpipe. I’ve replaced a couple sensors in the 10 ...

Re: SHOW ME YOUR FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE!!!

This kit from Jegs works great on our fuel rail. It spaces the gauge high enough to clear the rail. Using the side position points it toward the fender for easy viewing. Been using one of these on my car for quite a few years. If you prefer not to have the brass finish you can always paint it. https...

Re: Fuel Injector upgrade

I would suggest you look into the newer Siemens/deka high impedance injectors. These are fast opening and will work great with the MS. They draw much less current and produce less electrical noise than the low impedance injectors. I switched to these after maxing out the stock 35lb then low impedanc...

Re: Catch Can Question

The T inline with the valvecover and crankcase will work. Larger lines will be better here especially if your considering an open breather. I used one of those summit ones for about 3 months before the drain valve fell out the bottom. Not the best quality. One other item to consider with the open pv...

Re: Electrical Issue

Sounds like it could be fuse link B. I think that might be the one you just replaced a while back. Not sure if the meter would have allowed enough current to open that link. Normally they are fused on the amp terminals at around the max current value +30%. Start by measuring continuity/ohms between ...

Grease and a punch or clutch install tool. Just be sure to put the rag around the punch before you give it a whack.

Re: Radisson Hotel Reservation Info

I have been procrastinating a bit on the planning this year. I just called and booked my room. The lady I spoke with said that the block of MCA rooms was sold out but she had no issue extending the rate and giving me a room with 2 beds. So its definitely worth calling and speaking to a live person t...

Re: Greetings - New Member here

Welcome aboard! Just read some of the previous posts. I was running the 215/50/16 tires on countour SVT rims and spacers. They did fit and performance was much improved. The issue now is little to no choice in tires in this size. These were only offered I believe on 2 cars factory; the PT cruiser an...

Re: Advantage from TC intake?

You may want to check out turboford for flow information.
I seem to remember someone flow bench testing the later style inline intake but I'm not sure on the early version.
