Will do, I'll have to try and identify the specific hinge that you're after.
I can look at my car for reference and see what I have for spares.

Re: steering rag joint?
Ask Jeff Esteban who IIRC sold some earlier. Rapido, too. YMMV Yeah, I think Esteban were solid/aluminum. That may be ok for states with smooth roads, however, roads where I'm at are similar to surface of the moon. I was looking and motomobil has options, so maybe I dig through their site more and ...

steering rag joint?
Does anyone know of where I could get a new steering rag joint? I have a newer poly one that I got a few years ago, but seem like the seller is NLA.

Re: Duratec / Mazda L-Series MZR I4 2.0 / 2.3 / 2.5 Swap
Something new I learned today... The 2020-24 Explorer was available with the 2.3 EcoBoost. The intake manifold is unique to that application and very different from the one used on the Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost. It's similar in overall design to the old Sierra Cosworth 2.0 intake manifold. As such, it c...

Re: Adjustable quadrant, firewall and cable question!
Ok I'm just only familiar with a parking pawl in a transmission from back in college lol. I just googled it and the pawl is part of the quadrant system. I'll see what I can find tomorrow and report back. I can't wait to convert this car to hydraulic down the road lol. Thanks for the insight! Why co...

Re: Adjustable quadrant, firewall and cable question!
I'll dig into that tomorrow after work and see what I find. I'll post pictures in case I run into any issues with what needs to be adjusted. Is the pawl part of the quadrant or is that the firewall adjuster? This is all fairly new to me lol. No firewall adjuster, the pawl is up behind the dash abov...

Re: Adjustable quadrant, firewall and cable question!
Usually, at least in my experience, you can pull up on the clutch pedal and it will allow the pawl to adjust. Have you tried that yet? I'll dig into that tomorrow after work and see what I find. Re: Volvo S40 Electric Power Steering Swap
Thank you :) I did sell the business. Technically I have a few dealers still selling different version of them. Inductive has bought license to sell and produce them for EVs. and hangtight.io has a newer and simpler version of them that is waterproof and with autodetect of pumps. Here's a link to H...

Re: Alternative Motor Mounts
Bumping this thread with a photo of my alternate motor mount - original application is '93 Thunderbird 3.8. I seem to recall when I first figured this out 20 years ago there were some differences between the early ('89 -'92) and late ('93 - '97) mounts, but now there just seems to be one mount list...
