Here's one for you. My guy can thank my mom for this advise. If you want to hang with your guy, get involved in what he likes to do. In our case it's having fun with old cars. Steve opened the door for me when it came to cars and to appreciate the workings of the car in general. I find it very inter...

Did someone say SHO? Yep, that was a fun ride but not in town. It drank more than I did  Most of my former rides where fun. The rides we have now are just as willing to put smiles on my face. The fave's are the Capri, XR, and my latest, the Impreza. Yes, I broke down and bought a winter ride. ...

Wyatt, It was great seeing you and meeting the family. I still think a trip to Ocean Shores would be fun. At least it will not be so darned hot. :D Sept. is still a good time to go. Other cars shows in our neck of the woods that are coming up.... Tomorrow the Mustang & Ford picnic at BCC. The fo...

I agree with the wife, keep the car. Steve is right, it may not have the best fuel economy for todays standards but think back when it was new. In it's day it was among one of the cars to own for the money, fuel consumption, fun factor and dare I say practicality? We are right around $4.67 per gallo...

Thanks for the food for thought. I'll need to check these gas companies
out. I know that ARCO is in our area. The others I'm not so sure.

OK my 2 cents.... Agree with the fact that you already own your Merk outright. That's savings right there. So you may have to throw some money at it to get it up to snuff. My guy bought my Merk for the simple reason it was one of the cars on my wish list. I first thought I'd look good driving it. I'...

Hillsburo show..

was fun despite the rain trip going down on Friday. Steve and myself are thinking we'll need to do that one again. We hung out with the EuroFords. There were 2 XRs and a Scorp. this year. 16 cars for our group came. We missed the fiestas that came later. We needed to leave by 1:00 to get to a family...

Hi there. Our car show season will be starting up soon! :D The All Ford Meet is June 1st. Then the following Friday, we'll be headed for Hillburo, OR. one. That one is the long run for us this year. The hand full of other events are local except for the one in Shelton but that's on our way back from...

Just to remind all of you. The XR is a great, easy handling, long haul road driver. Very smooth. As long as it's running :D :D Car show time is near, can't wait to see some of the diehards and meet some new people who are in the car hobby just for the fun of it. Great time for photos as well. Rocky

We went through all that but didn't stop. We were hell bent on getting to Ocean Shores and drove on to Issaquah. The next day Monday, we picked up an awesome '73 Capri. This one is really well put together with with a 302 under the bonnet and 9" rear end. That's one hot ride. Check out the Hill...
