Common Merk wisdom has been that only the Purple ring ones are read accurately by the dash gauge, IIRC, due to the specific resistors used in the printed circuit/wiring. BTW, OPMD has (had?) a supply of Purple ring ones recently discovered somewhere; I bought one. Where are you getting the ones you'...

Speaking of hotties...Is it hot enough for you guys in Phoenix, JTB? I noticed yesterday's world/WORLD high was 116 F in Nagpur, 'Inja'--as the Brits might say. Hell (!), Phoenix looks to hit 109 F today. Meanwhile in the Mid-Atlantic we're seeing between 65-75F yesterday and today. :wink: YMMV 8)
