Who's going to Carlisle?

Post by fastmaul »

Ok, let's have a show of hands who's going to Carlisle? I'm asking cause I feel as if we have built here a very small tight group as opposed to the
other forums that have a gazillion members! so I'd like to meet the ones I don't know yet.

I'm already pre-registered and have a hotel room reserved. I'll be bringing my red '89XR with RS500 wing. Hope to see you there. How will we know who's who?

Roberta & I are planning to bring both of our XR's (1986 and 1988) again this year. We've already booked our room for the weekend at Carlisle. We'll be traveling along I-81 N from Carolinas, probably spending Thursday night in Roanoke. Gets us in midday Friday, when you can spend some time at vendor displays. :D

I'm going with my '89 XR and my son is taking his '89 Scorpio. We'll be driving down from Northern NJ on Friday morning.

All registered and hotel reserved.

I've made my room registration. Still need to register with Carlisle.
The car needs some work to be ready.

I'm going for sure - just can't decide who my co-driver will be!

Didn't realize the question included those who weren't going, but I guess that's me. I look forward to the day when I can, but it's simply not possible for me this year.

My 88 and I will be there! Booked and registered! (Red with RS500 wings and grill, 17s and 4 corner brake upgrade..Guess that's about all that's visible from the outside...) 3rd year, and I wouldn't miss it!
Trying to get time to do the walbro pump, T-5 conversion, new sway bars, oil cooler, and urethane bushings all in before the big event!

I'll be there! Carlisle # 6 for me & I wouldn't miss it!!
Convoying it with the i-76 crew, then meeting up with the i-70 crew for the rest of the trip as per usual. Now if I could just decide which Merkur to drive this year :)

I'm probably going, but more than likely I'll show up as a passenger in a turbo Escort I'm building with a friend. Unless I can find a job between now and Carlisle...
