XR LED upgrades (Interior, Exterior, etc)

Here is a list of all of the LED offerings I have. If there is anything missing, feel free to contact me. I have gone knee deep in LED fun and testing on the XR. I also do some Scorpio conversions if you have any requests there.

I started with the reverse polarity dome lights and you can see I have expanded to about everything. Cluster bulbs dim very well provided that you stick with stock incandescent bulbs in the 2 HVAC bulbs. The LEDs like to have a little resistance in the circuit. Shipping is a flat $2 in a small padded envelope in the US. Larger orders I will of course cut you a deal. Please specify if you would prefer bright white, or warm white. As of now my offerings are:

Interior:
$8ea LED dome lights (if you only get one thing, get this and save your lens from cracking)
$22 LED dimmable cluster bulbs with trade for dead bulbs ($36 for no trade)
$2ea LED clock bulbs with trade (stockish color, green, blue, fuchsia, orange, or red) ($6ea without trade) (Some colors require mods to the clock itself)
$2ea LED cig lighter and ash tray bulbs (3 per XR)
$2ea LED red hazard indicator bulb
$2ea LED mini cluster grey bulbs (except battery and turn sig, requires special circuitry)
$2ea LED blower selector switch (only dims slightly, not for use with LED cluster)
$3ea LED eyeballs (2 per XR)
$3ea LED footwell bulbs (2 per XR, specify early large bulb, or later small 194 bulbs)
$3ea LED hood/hatch bulb
$3 LED glove box

Exterior tail and turn signals:
A MUST for tinted, smoked, or clear lenses. These are brighter than incandescent bulbs and work very well in these situations. A LOT of testing, money, and research went into finding these. Most in our community probably will not invest in these, but the research is done and I will offer it anyway. These are not cheapo bulbs. Allow extra time as these require minor mods before they are Merkur friendly. Also these will drive your bulb out warning display nuts. To remedy that I simply pulled the corresponding wires from the back of the display.

FREE turn signal flasher mod if you send me your old one as a core.
Going full LED on all 4 turn signals is possible but requires extra work. Feel free to contact me for details.

Exterior Misc:
$3ea LED bumper lights (2 amber, 2 red per car)
$4ea LED license plate bulbs
$15pr LED fog lights (both 880 XR, or H3 Cosworth, for show only, not focused enough as actual fog lamps)
$10pr XR parking lights in amber or warm white. Works for both top firing and rear firing sockets. Bright white is available, but only looks good if your lenses are perfectly clear.
Lots of options on Cosworth city lights. Specify socket type 194 or 57 and what color. Handled on a per customer basis.

Scorpio: LED switch conversions. I have window switch cores, but not the others. I will gladly accept donations.

$5ea LED any center console switch, same color options
Contact me for LED options on US and Euro tail lights. They get expensive quickly but look very nice.

LED clock colors: In order, top to bottom, left to right:
Stock
Green LED (I consider stock replacement)
Red LED (great at night, easy on eyes)
Amber/Yellow LED

Blue (difficult to photograph, very bright at night but cool looking)

Bear in mind the camera is extremely sensitive. The backgrounds are not quite that bright in reality and the "hot spots" of the LED are much less.

Dimmable cluster bulbs added. They are pretty awesome if I can say so myself. The warm white I believe is the most pleasant looking.

I've installed these bulbs into my cluster tonight and they really clean up the look. Much brighter and no dim spots anywhere! Very very satisified with Brian's work. I'll be placing another order for my cousin as well.

Yes, I got the dome light leds from Brian and they are awesome, very satisfied with them too, I don't have pics of them yet because I am working on the wires but I will post some when I get done with the wire work, also I am surely gonna order the cluster, foot well and rear (hatch) leds too as well as the rebuild turn light "stick" service, this lights are great. Thanks.

$15 Cossie city lights (the prototypes look good, waiting on the final versions to roll out)

For the cossie fog lights.. can you do yellow?

Yeah, those Ford emblems are made out of unobtanium now. Impossible to find. It would be more of an amber than a true yellow, but I could get them if wanted. And any LED in the fogs will be virtually useless as an actual fog light. They are just for show at that point. I never use mine as fogs so that's fine with me.

My Camry has LEDs in the fog lights, or at least I think they are since you can't change them. Never actually looked that closely at them.

They work fine, but maybe that is because they were designed that way?

You are correct, design is everything. Drop in LED replacements are always a compromise since the light source is broad, and not a single focused point like a filament white the reflectors were designed to focus on. Dimmer lights don't matter as much but the main exterior lights are more critical and require a lot more light output to compensate.

For the city lights, mine has a 3983 bulb which is the T4W bulb. Any ideas for LEDs for that?
