Ah! That's a BA9s, same socket as the license lights. Most Cossie lights are 194, the rarer ones are the BA9s. I don't normally stock those but I knew they existed and I can get them no prob.

And any LED in the fogs will be virtually useless as an actual fog light. They are just for show at that point. I never use mine as fogs so that's fine with me.
They come up for sale frequently, just have to watch what size each offering is.

I'll be hitting you up in the spring.

Do you have an LED bulb for the Scorpio overhead console light?

I can get or make almost anything within reason if I know what size it it. I see the Scorp dome light is a festoon style. Do you know the size or type? Typically I will keep stock of all the popular XR sizes, but not the Scorp since there is so low demand. If anyone has a complete bulb list for a Scorpio I can start organizing and preparing at least. I'm sorry we don't own a Scorpio, just not enough time or room!

I am interested in the warm white dimmable LED for the dash cluster.. Are you going to Carlisle?

Are these just plug and play, or is there other work that needs to be done for them to work properly?

PM me at rick@rvision.ca
I dont check this forum much.

Good news! Due to competition most likely, my supplier has cut his prices on the big stuff pretty significantly!
20pr Front turn
30pr Rear brake
30pr Rear tail
20pr Rear turn
10pr Rear reverse

Thank you all at Carlisle for your support. I was a little overwhelmed and pretty much cleaned out and everyone seemed very happy with their lights. This is a good problem for me to have. Feel free to spread the word and share photos here and/or on Facebook.

Admins if you read this, any way I can edit my original post to reflect the price changes?

Sure, just hit the "Edit Post" button at the lower right corner of the page, and edit away. Good news on the prices, BTW.

Information: If you are going to run LED turn signals, here is the modification needed for the STOCK flasher relay behind the dash. If you need more info on finding it, look in your shop manual. Carefully open the STOCK relay and snip the lead on the integrated circuit as shown in the photo. Easy as that, no $30 special relay needed.

SvoSierra wrote:Here is a more generalized section, one that can expand and grow as I crank out more offerings. Lately I have gone knee deep in LED fun and testing on the XR. Photos will be posted as I get more. Warm white LEDs also available for most applications if you want the appearance more like incandescent bulbs.

I started with the reverse polarity dome lights and you can see I have expanded to about everything. Cluster bulbs dim very well provided that you stick with stock incandescent bulbs in the 2 HVAC bulbs. The LEDs like to have a little resistance in the circuit. Shipping is a flat $2 in a small padded envelope in the US. Larger orders I will of course cut you a deal. As of now my offerings are:

Interior:
$8ea LED dome lights (one of a kind, reverse polarity)
$2ea LED clock bulbs with trade for dead bulbs (one white, one green) ($6ea without trade)
$2ea LED cig lighter and ash tray bulbs (3 per XR)
$2ea LED red hazard indicator bulb
$2ea LED mini cluster bulbs (except turn sig, requires special circuitry)
$2ea LED blower selector switch (only dims slightly, not for use with LED cluster)
$3ea LED eyeballs (2 per XR)
$3ea LED footwell bulbs (2 per XR, specify early large bulb, or later small 194 bulbs)
$5ea LED hood/hatch bulb
$1.5 LED glove box
$15 LED non-dimmable cluster bulbs with trade for dead bulbs ($30 for no trade)
$22 LED dimmable cluster bulbs with trade for dead bulbs ($36 for no trade)

PS. Keep your cost down and get me more burned out cores! :)

Hi Brian,
I just wanted to double check that the dashboard LED bulbs you offer are $22/set of 6 or is that $22 for each bulb?
Thanks
James

Thanks to SvoSierra for the flasher modification.

I also did this modification to the blinker light in the gauge cluster.

From the factory, the light uses grounding from the unflashing side.

There is not a good ground with the LED lights high resistance so I just
feed the indicator light from both sides through diodes and ground the opposite
side of the bulb.

If the XR had separate blinker lights in the dash like most cars this would not be an issue.

Image
+ = 12 Volts
- = Ground
L = Load or Light

Image

This little bulb also gives just enough load for the flasher to operate properly.

Thanks to SvoSierra for the start to my upgrades.

I have just built on his recommendations.

That's what we do here is build upon each other's progress. Please specify if you are using an LED or incandescent bulb for the dash indicator.
