Re: NEW Scorpio Aluminum Radiators
From the FAQ on your link...
"FAQ's
How well does it cool since it is shorter than the stock radiator?
Outperforms the stock radiator. Cooling capabilities will noticeably improve over stock."
What do you mean by "shorter"? What are the actual core dimensions of the unit?
Thanks in advance...

Re: NEW Scorpio Aluminum Radiators
Its based off the COSWORTH core, so its 3" shorter (at the top) than the stock radiator. This slightly moves the upper hose fitting as well, thats why we recommend the upper radiator hose to be replaced with Goodyear Hose # 62125 ( original design of that part number is a lower radiator hose for 1995-2001 Nissan Maxima 3.0 V6 )
This hose is the one you see in the installed picture as well.

Re: NEW Scorpio Aluminum Radiators
If it is shorter in height, and it has mounting tabs for the shroud, then does the shroud need to be modified to accommodate the change in height?

Re: NEW Scorpio Aluminum Radiators
Thats $KRILLA's car that shows the rad installed, I'm not sure what (if anything) had to be done to the shroud when it went back on. the shroud still has to be the right size for the fan to be spinning in the middle of so its likely unchanged.
You could ask him:

Mine has an electric fan on it, so I'm not much help as the clutch fan and shroud are gone.
