Wanted XR4TI that is very nice and automatic
I am scouting for a car I had a long time ago or one that looks just like it. I had a 1986 double spoiler XR4TI car that was black with the sunroof and grey leather in an automatic? but I will consider any color and also a stick. Looking for a very nice driver or a cream puff? low mileage or restored? Let me know what you might have for sale?? Will consider all colors. Tim

Sometimes there's zero Merkurs for sale, on here/ebay/craigslist/autotempest/bat. Sometimes there are a couple for sale. It just depends.

You're finding that those of us that have mint Merkurs tend not to give them up very often.
It'll be especially difficult (if not impossible) because the wanted car is so specific.

I changed my ad to the advice of some of the guys and gals here! Thanks! I also got one contact I didn't know I had. Since i am new, I didn't know I had to check in to get responses. Duh! Getting old. See what happens. I will never forget pulling up next to an older mustang at the beginning of a long stretch at 45mph and seeing this guy look at me. The teenager in me came to life and the pedal went to the floor. From 45mpg to about 80 mph I totally blew him away. If it was a stick I would have had him to 100 maybe. Then his V8 4 barrel kicked in. Still a blast! i am sure you guys have cars that go much much faster. That is why I want another one. although I rarely break the speed limit now. Tim
