IDK, based on the engine bay, kinda' looks like the car is an original Regency Red Metallic, with the clear coat starting to go a little in spots. IMHO, can't imagine someone going to all the trouble to pull everything out of the engine bay to spray it to match a new exterior, and then go with that rust-red.

I think you're right about the cladding, handles et al being a later owner-respray. The bumper inserts are red, which would have been the norm for most body colors with the grey cladding, which actually looked OK with that red. If it was a full-on factory monotone paint job, I'd think the inserts would have been black, like on the monotone White. Matter of fact, it would probably look a lot better if you just painted those inserts black.

Agreed, black inserts would look nice, especially with the absence of black door handles, locks, etc.

Ive got one in Greenville that I am wanting to sell. Ive done some work to it and the interior is out of the car. It hasn't run since 2013 but its been in the garage since then. I can send some pictures if you are interested.

Hey Bob can you tell us more about the car you have for sale? I would also like to see pictures. I will throw them up on imgur for you and make the links here if you'd like. If that's ok with you. :cheers
