For Sale: XR Red Koni Struts - Newly Rebuilt by Koni

Post by DPDISXR4Ti »

Long ago discontinued by Koni, red Koni struts for the XR4Ti, fully rebuilt by Koni in 2019. Better than new or NOS, as they were recently hand-rebuilt with modern techniques and seals. I had these rebuilt by Koni, but then opted to use Scorpio knuckles, requiring different struts. The red struts are a little softer valved than the yellows.

$600 plus shipping or free delivery to Carlisle.

Awesome deal, they just need that cool little shock decal on them to be perfect.

I agree those are a nice item. Especially when you consider the new Konis/Bilsteins you see online listed as "in stock" are actually not in stock at all. You will spend your money and then wait around only to be refunded. Always go with one of the vendors here or fellow members selling extra parts.

Really? I ordered Bilsteins that said in stock, they showed up on my porch 3 days later.

How long ago did you do this? Did this place also have Koni shocks available? I'm told you can't get either anymore. I wonder if you got the last ones for sale.

I think the Bilstein B8 (for lowered suspension) are still available, but the Bilstein B4 and B6 for stock height are NLA.
Koni Reds and Yellows both NLA.
