Anyone ever take apart the front leather seats to fix a leaking lumbar bladder (or install heated seat elements) ?
I bought this kit and I intend to install soon...

Kit looks decent. Has a switch with two adjusters for each seat. Switch looks like the right size drop in to one of the square holes in the Scorpio center console. Control box probably has FETS to drive the seat heaters with PWM.
Bigger issue is what to do about the lumbar bladders. My gut tells me the originals might be repairable but will probably fail again due to age.
Can't seem to find an economical solution for replacements bladders.
Got my hog ring pliers ready to go..

Re: Seat Dismantling
Years ago I dismantled a XR seat to repair the seat heater. The Scorpio seat looks like it might be more challenging - especially the seat-back.
The inflatable bladders all fail, but I don't know that I've heard anyone describe exactly HOW they fail and what the fix might be.
In summary, please report back on your success once completed!
