Gentlemen,
Spent most of this morning trying to fit in ash receptacle and it's housing. No luck. Too tight, wrong fit or something else. Could someone please post some pictures of the housing position inside of lower dash console. There are 2 Phillips screws mounting the housing and the rest is snap-on, but the simplicity of it all evades me.

Never mind. I wasn't looking to buy. Found the right position thanks to the Shop Manual. This book proved its worth over and over again. Moving on to next phase, but must admit working on Scorpio is sort of a purgatory for the weary owner.

Most folks don't realize that the original screen play for the movie "The Book of Eli" was actually called "The Book of Scorpio Helms".
Of course Hollywood bastardized it into the King James Bible in a vain attempt to get wider appeal. But in a not so far off post-apocalyptic world..ask yourself..."What would be more valuable?" I think the answer is clear...
