The lockpickinglawyer showed how quickly you can open these locks with the right tools. Those tools most likely would never have been invented if the locks were not used in all those transit vans. I guess it became a real problem when thieves started going around and stealing tools and such from companies work vans. I used to see vans with latches welded to the doors and large padlocks on them driving around. I guess today people just have wifi cameras aimed at their work vans to prevent tool theft.
The best way to keep your Kia from being stolen is to not have a Kia.

I can't remember where, but I saw that tool on one of the china websites.
