All the cool kids are doing it.

I can't really figure out how the water got in there - I figured those channels were totally sealed off from the inside. Guess not. :beats head

I figured the new paint/boday work was going to be top secret until Carlisle and then BAM you casually post up a pic.
To some extent that is the plan. I'll withhold pics of the "finished product" until Carlisle.
Carlisle...what year?
I'm not getting any younger.

OK, it's time. I think I speak for all of us, and I DO know you're a busy guy Brad, being the renaissance man you are, with many community and personal interests, in addition to your family and professional life.
Without further ado.....

A little, but important detail - finally figured out where I'm going to mount the fuse box - well, what's left of the fuse box. I've glued on one of two 90-degree brackets to the fuse box which will allow it to hang off the steering column support arm via some zip-ties. The brackets are donated from a pre-'92 F150 - simple little things that hold the PCM in place in their native application. Obviously re-purposed here - still need to grab the second one.

The remaining relays - just three - can be tucked away somewhere - I'm not too concerned about those.

I firmly believe every car should have an engine, and so now this one has one too....

Easiest engine install ever. Any other Merkur I might own, the radiator support will be made removable.
