We'd throw away one of our cars if it was half this bad. I could possibly understand the price if it was a "S", but a lowly "T" going for this kind of money is just insane!

I think a lot of Porsche guys tend to get turgid and do silly things when they see an early, long-hood car selling for less than the cost of a modern Kia, regardless of condition. Imagine how quickly that $15,000 car would turn into a $30,000 car if you had to pay someone to patch all that tinworm. Usually better off finding a clean example and shelling out the extra funds up front, rather than driving around in a car made of MIG'd together playing-card-sized patches.

Probably someone shopping for parts and a clean title.
I'd bet $100 that the aforementioned Kia is faster around anything but a banked oval track.

You're probably right. My mind wouldn't even allow me to entertain the notion that someone would spend $15,000 for a parts car.

But I don't see that there's $15K worth of parts there. And as for the title, I could understand paying that much for an S, but not a T.
