Are you going to put a spare 2.3 turbo mill into it or something? I'd go with the one that has a cap on it. Then put some of that head gasket fix in a bottle in there and 5 quart jug of supertech from walmart. You could probably go another year or so with that engine while waiting for the right engine donor truck. They get plenty of 3.0 rangers at the pull it your damn self yard, but it could take awhile to find a nice low miles one.
