Are you driving up from Texas? It's been done a few times over the years but not in some time. There's actually a guy who has driven his Mondeo up from Mexico to Carlisle twice over the past three years.

Current plan is to trailer XR to Carlisle since I don't trust it to make the trip and back. I've only owned it a couple months and it sat outside in CA for the best part of the last 20 years prior to me purchasing it as a project.

Per your suggestion.....just registered for Carlisle 7 got the 20% off. Thanks. I didn't purchase off grounds trailer parking space, thought I could leave trailer at Penn-Harris hotel. Is that doable or no?

Yes, you can leave the trailer at the hotel parking lot.
Make sure you take the fun way from the hotel to the grounds!

Good to know about the hotel and the "drive" to the grounds. Looking forward to my first Carlisle Ford's trip! Thanks for the info!

We usually try to have print-outs of the "back way" into the show-field. Best bet is to just convoy in with a couple of us. Note, your GPS will NOT take you this way!

I thought I posted the route last year or the year before. Maybe it was on FB??

Sadly I won’t be making it this year but looking forward to 2025.

My wife and I have talked the last few years about making this drive. I've got a functional car...and also a cargo trailer, so it's just money and scheduling, but probably won't happen this year. I'd be heading up from New Braunfels, TX.
