Honda Z 600 in Barn Finds

We were all showing past cars in a thread at one point and I see one of mine for sale on line today.

Mine was a '72 model in yellow. The original price shown ($1,800) on line must be wrong as mine was $1151 plus sales tax in spring of '72 in St. Louis from a local Olds dealer.

Gas mileage around town was 25-30 mpg and highway driving was 34-36 mpg when cruising 65-70 mph. Red line was as 6,000 rpm/75 mph and it could do that all day as it was a motorcycle engine with a belt driven sucker fan. I sold it with ~110,000 miles on it in the spring of '83. 10" Dunlop radial tires in 145 width were standard. Mini Cooper 10" tires were available in many types then but not now.
