It is getting more interest from others as well as us with regard to LED headlights:

It's really bad. Especially on one lane each direction roadways

But we're defenseless (I occasionally put on lightly tinted yellow driving lens glasses in some situations, which helps a bit).

YMMV

Hi all,

Depending on the browser you choose, there are add on programs that will block virtually all pop ups and end tracking cookies if you wish to do so. Privacy Badger is a good example of those. You won't have an ad for yellow glasses pop up after you mention them in a chat room...

just a thought.

I use that add on with Firefox and it works very well. At present it is blocking over 4,000 domains for me when I surf the wild blue yonder. It is fully configurable to act as you wish.

The HIDs are brighter for sure. My wife and I bought a 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness in late 23. It has the option to have the car control the high beams. I have noticed that it sometimes does not turn the high beams off when it should and leaves them off in situations that I may want them. This could be another reason why the HIDs/LEDs of modern headlights seem brighter than the days of old.
